I woke up Saturday morning, met a friend for breakfast at a local restaurant and then went to the gym after. When I got back, we prepared to go over to another friend's house for a neighborhood bbq. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but we were blown away. The friends were great, the food was great, the atmosphere was great. The only thing that wasn't great was picture taking on my part. I ate a lot, drank a lot of beer and had a wonderful time. My hat goes off to all those who made such a great night possible.
On Sunday, we woke up early and met some friends who will shortly be moving. We all piled into the car and headed on up to the Noto peninsula. As I previously mentioned, I am completely in love with this area as it seems the further north one goes on the peninsula, the fewer people there are. People are great, but I prefer smaller quantities of them. We left at about 8:15 in the morning and got back around 10:15 at night. When we came back, we stopped at a local Indian restaurant for a wonderful dinner.
All in all, they really don't come much better than this. The only down side to all of it is the friends we spent time with, we will soon have to say goodbye to for a while. At least the memories will last for a lifetime.
