This morning I stepped on the scales to see how I was doing on my goal of 80kg for the first of June.
I've been working out really hard, eating relatively clean and refraining from excessive (read: nightly) booze.
My weight: 80.6kg
I'll take it. The weight goal is just a number. What I really wanted was to improve my health and I do feel much better. My heartburn is steadily subsiding, my energy levels are skyrocketing and life in general just got a bit more sunny and happy with the changes.
My next goal is to reach my destination weight before my birthday, September 14th. I still don't know what I'm shooting for, but I'm guessing around between 71-73kg. It's just a number, and I'll know when I get there by how I feel and look.
